Connecting the dots…
Organizations must expand their view beyond their immediate horizon. Too often consulting firms will specialize in a singular methodology; either strategy or implementation. However, we believe that in order to truly help our clients, GIST must connect the dots between three core tenets; drawing insight and relationships from seemingly unrelated events and industries; development of a clear strategy based on assessing the route issues and identifying a path to execution.
Shared Risk…
GIST offers a very different approach to working with our clients than most executive advisors. At GIST, we are interested in fostering an on-going, long term relationship with our clients. To enable that outcome, we work on a retainer-based financial arrangement with our clients. This creates shared risk between and places the burden on GIST to demonstrate our value on a daily basis.
Using more than just a hammer…
Gist employs a variety of tools in helping its clients meet their strategic objectives. However, rather than utilize a set methodology; Gist works with its client to establish a game plan at the beginning of each engagement that is customized to the need and objective of that specific client. Whether it is custom research, facilitation of a board meeting, or an executive summit, Gist utilizes the set of tools that best suits the client’s expected outcome.
