What should you be doing?
Once you have cataloged your full set of current activities, you have the ability to prioritize your growth portfolio. What are the key activities that are true value-drivers? How many “zombie” projects do you have rattling along your hallways? Often the decision to stop doing something is harder to undertake than the one to start something new. Halting work on initiatives that do not align to your current and future strategic direction frees up resources and your capacity to make investments to pursue a refreshed set of previously unknown opportunities.
